The Admissions Process

Admission to FCCS is a partnership between the school and your family. Because parents teach at home three days a week, we want to know your family — not just your student.

Read Our Mission

Start with our mission and convictions. Applying families are asked to affirm commitment to the stated mission of the school, its philosophy of education, and its Statement of Faith.

Submit Your Application

Apply online, or download and return a paper application. You'll share family information, your church involvement, and your student's academic background, character, and interests.

Family Interview

After your application is submitted, we will contact you to schedule a family interview so we can get to know one another and answer your questions.

Enrollment

Accepted families complete all remaining forms, including the Financial Agreement Policy, before the first day of school.

Choose whichever is easier for your family — both applications are identical.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a university model school?
Like a university schedule, students attend formal classes on some days and study independently on others. At FCCS, students are in the classroom Monday and Wednesday and learn at home with their parents Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Parents remain the primary educators; the school comes alongside them with gifted teachers, structure, and community.
What does "classical" education mean?
Classical education follows the trivium — Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric — the ancient three-fold way of learning. More than a method, it is a vision: education is the ordering of loves, forming students who love what is True, Good, and Beautiful, namely Christ Himself. Read more on our Academics page.
Do we need to be members of Trinity Reformed Church?
FCCS is a ministry of Trinity Reformed Church and exists to serve Christian families. The application asks about your family's church involvement, and applying parents affirm the school's Statement of Faith. Contact us if you have questions about whether FCCS is a fit for your family.
What is expected of parents?
A great deal — joyfully. Parents supervise and direct at-home study three days a week, support the school's philosophy of education and discipline, and complete all enrollment forms before the first day of school. The university model only works with committed parents at the helm.
What about tuition?
Enrolling families complete a Financial Agreement as part of enrollment. Please contact us for current tuition and fees.
Can we still apply for this school year?
The main application window for this year has closed, but we welcome mid-year inquiries. Contact us and we'll talk through the options for your family — interviews are scheduled after your application is received.
